F1 HUB OFFICIAL POLICY

This Privacy Policy describes the rules and guidelines governing user data collection, security, and usage in F1 HUB. Please read it carefully.

1. INTRODUCTION

F1 HUB ("we", "us", or "our") is a fan-centric application dedicated to Formula 1 enthusiasts. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal data you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We only collect information that is necessary to provide you with the services and features of F1 HUB:

  • Account Credentials: When you register or sign in, we collect your email address, display name, and profile picture (if using Google Authentication). This authentication is handled securely via Firebase.
  • Device & Notification Tokens: To deliver real-time news updates and session reminders, we collect Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) push notification tokens unique to your device.
  • Usage Information: We collect anonymous logs about app interactions (e.g., button clicks, viewed pages) to diagnose performance issues and improve user experience.

3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

Your data is processed based on legitimate interest to provide a secure and functional application:

  • Authentication: To identify you and secure your personalized app settings.
  • Push Notifications: To send you race countdown reminders and breaking news alerts.
  • Analytics & Optimization: To monitor app performance and fix crashes or bugs.

4. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES & CONTENT

F1 HUB utilizes trusted third-party SDKs and public APIs that process data in accordance with their own privacy policies. These include:

  • Google Play Services
  • Firebase Authentication (User management and login)
  • Firebase Cloud Messaging (Notification delivery)
  • Firebase Crashlytics (Crash reporting)
  • Ergast / OpenF1 Developer APIs (For retrieving public sports statistics and schedules)
  • Cloudinary / Public CDNs (For dynamically fetching driver and team imagery)

Please note that F1 HUB acts as a client that dynamically fetches sports data and assets from these public providers. We do not host, store, or own the imagery fetched from these third-party CDNs.

5. DATA RETENTION & ACCOUNT DELETION

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. You have full control over your personal data.

Want to delete your account? You can request complete account and data deletion at any time by contacting us. Your account details and stored settings will be permanently erased from our databases within 7 business days.

6. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Our application does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers.

7. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this page periodically for any modifications.

Welcome to F1 HUB. These Terms & Conditions outline the rules, rights, and responsibilities associated with using our fan application.

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By downloading, installing, or using F1 HUB, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please immediately uninstall the application and discontinue any use of our services.

2. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & DISCLAIMER

F1 HUB is an UNOFFICIAL, community-driven fan application. This app is not associated in any way with the Formula 1 companies, FOM, or any racing teams.

IMPORTANT IP NOTICE: F1, FORMULA ONE, FORMULA 1, FIA FORMULA ONE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP, GRAND PRIX, and related marks are trademarks of Formula One Licensing B.V. and the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA).

All copyright, logos, team names, driver names, race schedules, and news assets belong to their respective trademark and copyright holders. No infringement is intended.

Note on Assets: F1 HUB does not bundle or host copyrighted images within its application package. Any team or driver imagery displayed is dynamically fetched from third-party APIs and public content delivery networks (CDNs) strictly for editorial, informational, and fan-reporting purposes under Fair Use principles.

3. USER ACCOUNTS & SECURITY

You must maintain the confidentiality of your credentials (such as email/Google Sign-In) used to access F1 HUB. You are solely responsible for all activities occurring under your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate our community standards or engage in disruptive behavior.

4. SERVICE AVAILABILITY & WARRANTY

F1 HUB retrieves sports statistics, news feed highlights, and schedules from public data feeds. While we strive to present accurate, up-to-date information, the application is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, real-time accuracy, or error-free updates.

5. USER CONDUCT & ACCEPTABLE USE

When interacting with the app or sending feedback, you agree not to:

  • Abuse the Service: Reverse engineer, exploit, or scrape application APIs and data.
  • Falsify Identity: Create accounts with malicious intent or impersonate others.
  • Harmful Activity: Attempt to bypass any security layers or access other users' data.

6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, F1 HUB, its developers, and contributors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of, or inability to use, the application.

7. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted immediately on this screen. Your continued use of the app after modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
